Bluish

God Next Door

Part I

Creator of life,

I indifferently destroy too

I make you float and-

I rush through you;

I am everyone.

From emotional highs

To your blue,

From furrows

Up till the wind that flew;

I am everyplace.

To you,

I am tasteless

(Unfortunately) also devoid of odor

As I stride past, breathless.

I am everything

God Next Door

Part II

I suffice in arteries,

I power your cardiac batteries.

I am your head’s stability

Also find me deep,

Deep down in masticating-factories.

In rivers and seas,

Find me in Enceladus’ directories.

Sometimes amphibious-

I wander mountains,

At times through the trees.

I am Destin’s native “emerald

Be it the “red” Bondi herald,

Even when “bioluminescent” within Maldives,

I shore up colorless in styles-

Both pretty as well as dishevelled.

*

I am formless

Yet, I am every-form.

Still unsure of its prowess? Sprinkle a pinch of it over metallic sodium and witness the dance of fury, for it houses every skills to burn too.

..It is water!

      1. Since I didn’t do pre-search on that bit, it’d probably be safe to term it a (modification of) limerick only. I would be glad if you enlighten me on that part, because one can never know everything. 😅😄

      2. I’d say that the first part resembles a corrido, ‘d’ happens to be merely an addition to fine tune the first four-four line stanza. I’m unsure of the second part though.

      3. I got this finally.. yayy! Second part is a 5-line stanza modification to (4-liners) Persian ruba’i which goes by the scheme “aaxa” .. I hope the explanation fits the girth of your query. 😅
